HONG KONG – Transitioning one’s look from summer to fall is a breeze with the right accessories.
“Cold weather spells mean wrapping up in scarves, donning hats and gloves, and accessorising with handbags in lush fabrics and colours. These accessories basically make a look stand out in a sea of neutrals,” according to Celine Lau, Director for Jewellery Fairs at UBM Asia. “For accessories wholesalers, retailers and other business owners looking for inspirational ideas for the Fall/Winter season, it is important that they get an immediate preview of the season’s trends and access to creative ideas that can help them step up their game.”
Asia’s Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair – March (3FJ) is one business platform that doubles as a reference point to all things vogue.
Scheduled for February 27 to March 2 in Halls 3 and 6 of the AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE), 3FJ is a bridge that connects buyers to fashion jewellery and accessories suppliers from around the world. |

It brings the best of the industry to one venue, enabling participants to reach out to customers, get a closer look at the latest trends that could impact revenue growth and fine-tune their expertise.
India, Korea, Mainland China, the Philippines and the Taiwan region will have their group pavilions, further reinforcing their long-term competitive strengths in fashion jewellery and accessories design and production.
Also not to be missed are the Designer Atelier, Fashion Accessories Zone and Stainless Steel Jewellery Pavilion, which are among the show’s popular attractions. |

Radhika Gupta of India-based 5 Elements is launching a fashion jewellery collection made of natural materials such as hand-woven jute and shells, which are favoured for their earthy and enduring appeal. Gupta’s love for all things natural is also evident in her bag creations – think beltbags, bucket bags and mini tote bags – which are also made of the durable and eco-friendly material.
“These handbag styles have really been on trend for a while now, and will remain wardrobe staples,” Gupta shares. “For 3FJ, we will present our jute collection, which is a trend in itself. We have used a lot of hand-weaving options for this accessory line.”

Founded more than two decades ago, Blue Planet counts Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, the US and Canada among its main markets.
“Buyers should not miss the Blue Planet booth if they are looking for new fashionable items at good prices and that are easy to sell for the new seasons,” Forteau adds.
