HONG KONG, 27 February 2019 – Gain expert insight at Asia’s Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair – March (3FJ) by participating in a series of panel discussions and interactive sessions featuring some of the industry’s most exciting designers and seasoned manufacturers.
Opening its doors in Halls 3 and 6 of the AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) today, the four-day B2B fair is offering industry professionals opportunities to make connections with their peers, learn from their fellow entrepreneurs and tap into trend directions that will influence the market in the seasons ahead.
“We aim to deliver value through our ‘Share Your Insights’ sessions, which will be held at 3FJ’s newly launched Networking Area,” notes Celine Lau, Director for Jewellery Fairs at UBM Asia, an Informa Plc company. “We are bringing together a good mix of talent and experience to these events, which will leave our audience better informed and hopefully, more inspired.”
Today, designers Deborah Tsui (Deborah Jewellery, Hong Kong), Carlo Evaristo (Carlo Juan Evansto Trading, Philippines), Cynthia Lui (Loupe, Hong Kong) and Sam Wong (Loupe, Hong Kong) will take the front seat at a panel discussion on “Fashion Jewellery and Accessories Market Trends.” The session will be followed by Picup Media’s product demonstration on its smartphone

jewellery lightbox, a “lighting environment” that allows jewellers to capture studio-quality images using their phones. On 28 February, Katrina Delantar (Floreia, Philippines), Lu Guohui (Guangzhou Tan Tat Metal Works, China) and Coco Hu (Karma Metal Jewelry Manufacturer, China) will headline a panel discussion on “Craftsmanship and Manufacturing Innovation.” The discussion will centre on how fashion jewellery and accessories manufacturers have successfully fused modern technologies with art, design and craftsmanship.

Meanwhile, China’s rapidly changing consumer environment will be the focus of Hong Kong-based 3D design expert Roland Wong’s presentation on “Fashion Jewellery Development (Positive Changes) in the China Market.”
A session on “Art Therapy – Trends Reshaping the Fashion Jewellery and Accessories Industry” will be led by designer Seth Carlson (Loupe, Hong Kong) on 1 March.

India, Korea, Mainland China, the Philippines and the Taiwan region will have their group pavilions, further reinforcing their competitive strengths in fashion jewellery and accessories design and production.
Also not to be missed are the Designer Atelier, Fashion Accessories Zone and the Stainless Steel Jewellery Pavilion (including Men’s Jewellery) which are among the show’s core attractions. |
